For Travel Bloggers!
These are some of my favorite books about travel and travel blogging!
New Travel Bloggers
I use a number of different services for my travel blog.
Kalatu This is the blogging platform I use. Any blogger worth his salt is going to tell you to use WordPress and this is a WordPress based blogging platform that helps you learn to blog, quickly gets you on the first page of Google. So skip to the front of the line with this blogging platform and you can also sell it for some whopping 70% commissions! Making this the easiest way to monetize your travel blog! You can try it out for only $7 for 7 days by clicking here!
Aweber is the auto responder service I use. what this service does is lets me send automated messages to a list of people who have asked for me to send them information! This is the tool that will get you the mail box money that everyone online is seeking! You can get started with this service for 30 days for only $1
Snip.ly is a service that lets you place a banner onto content that is not yours. The banner links back to your site. The concept is share viral videos or articles and your banner will be sitting at the bottom of the page waiting to get some clicks!
Twitterfeed allows you to share your blog content automatically onto Twitter, Facebook, and Linkedin.
Amazon Affiliate program lets you share all sorts of items and help you monetize your blog easier. Free to sign up and start earning money.
Verve Resolutions is a company that I own that helps people make money in several different areas. I am recommending us here because I have a blog that shares different ways to get more traffic to your travel blog.
MegaPhoneApp.com is a web service I have used in the past. They are a simple way to build lead capture pages that integrate easily with Aweber. It is a great service and I will get it again at some point but for now it is not something I am using.
OneLoad.com is a service that will share your videos to multiple different video sites. It is Free with the option of a Pro account.
Animoto.com is another cool service that makes short professional slide shows in a video format. It is easy to use. You can make Free 30 second videos with it. They do have paid plans available.
Clickbank.com is a affiliate program directory. It’s focus is on digital products.
Zazzle.com is a company that you can use to create promotional items and other products for your new blog. From T-Shirts to coffee mugs Zazzle has hundreds of customizable items that you can sell.
Google Keyword tool is how I hunt down keywords for my blog. Keywords are important because they are how people will find your blog in the search engines! Once you get your account set up you’ll need to click tools at the top of the page to use the planner. Often times people think they have to set up an ad to be able to use this tool but you can bypass the ad set up by clicking tools.
Smart Passive Income Blog is a great resource for information about blogging and podcasting
Bluhost.com If for some reason you don’t use Kalatu for your blogging platform you will need to get hosting from somewhere and the host I recommend from prior experience is Bluhost.com. Don’t set up a free blog. Seriously it is not in your best interest to have someones ads all over your blog and you won’t be able to promote your own affiliate products. So if don’t take my advice and want to go through all of the painstaking set up, then get this hosting and set up your self hosted WordPress blog through them.
GoDaddy.com is who I buy my domain names from. I buy them from them because I have found them to be reasonably priced and it is really easy to find coupons online for their domain names. I can usually find a domain name for as little as a dollar by searching for Godaddy coupons.
For full transparency, I want to let you know that some of these links are affiliate links.
If you click on an affiliate link and purchase something I will receive a small commission at no extra charge to you. In an effort to share all of the tools I use (and I will be adding more later) not all of the links are affiliate links. I do use these products myself and I am confident that they are some of the best tools you can get or I wouldn’t be recommending them. I hope they serve you as well or better than they have served me.
